Questions and Answers

Q: I have an old Marlin semi auto LR rifle 5 shot clip. I can't find shells that will work without jamming. Can you help? Will these definitely work? Thanks.
Asked by:  - 10/27/2016
A: There are several reasons why you could be jamming. We suggest narrowing down your jamming problem, it might not be the ammo. (Not saying any of these 3 listed is your problem, but it might help narrow it down).

One cause could be your old Marlin has parts that are worn and need to be replaced. Sorry we don't sell gun parts like that.
Another cause might be it needs a good cleaning. Look under our "Cleaning & Maintenance" category.
If you think it's your ammo, you might be using ammo with NOT enough kick to send the slide backwards. If this is the case look for High Velocity ammo like this. Our experts feel this is the #1 Brand for .22 long rifle's and this is they consider to be the best bullet Aguila makes.

Hope this helps.
